BR repeater

I was curious if anyone has had any experience with the wyatts "BR" magazine box?

http://wyattsoutdoor.com/product_info.php/cPath/1/products_id/41

I'm putting together a short sporter weight gun in 6BR for a calling rifle. I have a 13# 6BRX with the "Mike Bryant Conversion" and it feeds very well after some trial & error spring placement. I had it in when the gun was a straight 6BR too & it feed pretty well, but since I found the sweet spot for the spring it has become much more reliable (I'm sure the slightly longer X case helps also).

However, by the time I buy all the pieces to put together another conversion, it looks like I could save the trouble & add a 223 spring & a blocker for my length to the above link & have hopefully a very reliable feed. Any experience with this would be appreciated. Surely I won't be the first Ginnie pig...

The box only holding two rounds is no concern to me. Can't think of the last time calling I needed to shoot more than 3 times, but needing a follow up or 2nd shot happens often.

Thanks

I haven't had any experience with Wyatts, but that is super cool that they are modifying the feed lips and such to accommodate the BR case!!

It baffles me that other mag manufacturers have not done something like this as the BR case is so popular.

I am hoping big time that AI and Alpha will one day soon start making a magazine for this same reason.

I can`t believe no one has tried these.....

I know about the Bryant mod. but i still think the single stack mag. has it`s merits..

I`ll be ordering one next week to try in my .20BR...Guess we`ll see..... :o

Trying to breathe life to this thread....has anyone had luck with the br box? I'm smack dab in the middle of a 22-250 to 6br conversion me-self and was looking at one of these boxes to remedy the feed issue. Although I don't intend to spend a dime yet until I actually get my rifle back and test for feed issues, it seems the general consensus says I will. Soooo has anyone put one of these boxes to use?? and I was playn around with the idea of using it in conjunction with an Arms Tech mag extender I have currently on the rifle. The mag extender comes with a lil removable spacer to block the rear to accept a .223 cartidge and follower, or if removed a standard .308. If it works it should allow possibly 2 more rounds into the mag bringing in a total of 4 I think, and I hope ease the tension on the spring as the bottom leaf is dropped down lower into the base of the mag extender as compared to the oem floorplate. Not too interested in payin out for new bottom metal and dbm's on this project...yet....soooo thoughts, ideas, anyone?? ;D

Might want to PM Coleridge and see if he has an update at all. I know he has one
