Roger Gower broke the 10 shot Light Gun Score record during match #3 this year at Williamsport 1000 Yard Benchrest Club.
He shot a 100 score, 5x, 3.493" group.
That beats all other scores shot previously and is a Williamsport record.
It is currently posted on the Original PA 1000 Yard Benchrest Club website.

Thats what they were using. Could have been anything else it just came around as other games got stepped up like loading/tuning techniques, rifle/rest/stock setups, actual tested scopes, bullet quality, etc.

That would be a hell of a lot of coincidences over the last couple years. Plus the guys on the BRA have had a lot more Dashers than BRAs,. Loading, tuning, bullets, ext. are exactly the same. Seems like conditions and barrels get better when a guy switches to a BRA.

You dont think people are watching their scopes a bit more and actually testing their actions a bit more? And with vapor trail and barts bullets coming along you wouldnt say the bullets are getting better? And actually measuring powder down to half a kernel and caring more about brass prep? Im not saying a dasher can hang with a br ack cause it has its own issues but its a good time to come along about right now. You cant shoot under an inch at 1k with a broke scope and 5 years ago think about how many were broke and very few knew

This year is the first real full season most have ran the BRA. In '17 I only had a couple of guys shooting it for a whole season. All those things you mentioned were done with the dasher other than Barts new bullet. Keep in mind most of the records that have fallen to the BRA are on the same guns that wore a dasher barrel the season before. We started pulling off those suspect scopes in 2014 even before I made a scope checker to prove what we already knew. To me everything is getting better, but theres still a lot more dashers out there today than BRAs. But the records in the last 2 years have shown a trend in spite of the BRA being the minority.
