Yeah our youngest did that and nearly a year later was... why did I do that? lol Everything from 22lr to 45, his AK's, and even shotgun which btw works surprisingly well.

I have one can and really enjoy using it, might get one for a 22lr. or not

My favorite LGS has one but they do their own optical scanning and for the most part bypass the SS kiosk. It just sits lonely over in the corner of the store. I’m not as lucky but a friend was approved in less than 48 hrs using the LGS scanner and e-form submission.

Yes. I can’t imagine a store not wanting to use it, but of course they may have a faulty unit.

I've done it both ways, and the LGS with a tablet is far and away easier, especially with getting the finger prints to be accepted. With that said, if your LGS doesn't have state of the art equipment, Kiosk isn't horrible, just finicky.

My son used silencer central online. He was approved in 14 bussiness hours by ATF. Did everything from comfort of his own home.Whole process less than 6 weeks. Suppressors arrived 2 weeks after approval in the US mail!

Yeah, but you only need to use it once. Subsequent purchases you just pay and leave.

I am considering it though, now that the waiting time has diminished. Hoping with Trump in office that maybe the tax stamps or whatever makes it so expensive will go away.

My class 3 guy spent more on his equipment than his bud who bought a kiosk, his works, the kiosk not so much and his bud had to double dip to get a program that worked. Same deal, prints and photos are stored and my last 2 cans took less than 72 hours Efiled not using a kiosk.

ATF needs to get a glitch figured out. My name has a suffix and ATF won't accept my application for another suppressor, but my CC for the tax stamp went through. Supposedly the glitch will be fixed by the 18th. Suppressors are addicting and can get expensive. I'm buying a new 22lr trapping pistol just so I can use a suppressor on it.

We can just walk into the gunshop choose which one, pay for it and walk out with it, or just buy one online and have it sent to you.
Or alternatively build one, Ruger were even selling a 10/22 with built in suppressor over the barrel.
