Yeah our youngest did that and nearly a year later was... why did I do that? lol Everything from 22lr to 45, his AK's, and even shotgun which btw works surprisingly well. And 5 days later I have 6 in jail.
I knew better.
My favorite LGS has one but they do their own optical scanning and for the most part bypass the SS kiosk. It just sits lonely over in the corner of the store. I’m not as lucky but a friend was approved in less than 48 hrs using the LGS scanner and e-form submission.Did you use the silencer shop kiosk?
Yes. I can’t imagine a store not wanting to use it, but of course they may have a faulty unit.Did you use the silencer shop kiosk?
I've done it both ways, and the LGS with a tablet is far and away easier, especially with getting the finger prints to be accepted. With that said, if your LGS doesn't have state of the art equipment, Kiosk isn't horrible, just finicky.

I can't imagine having to go through everything you have to go through to get a suppressor.
We can just walk into the gunshop choose which one, pay for it and walk out with it, or just buy one online and have it sent to you.
Or alternatively build one, Ruger were even selling a 10/22 with built in suppressor over the barrel.
Mine took just 23 hours last week. It was my first oneI guess I’m one of the last hold outs.
I am considering it though, now that the waiting time has diminished. Hoping with Trump in office that maybe the tax stamps or whatever makes it so expensive will go away.
