Suppressor life expectation

Since you said 223 any of the full auto rated cans will/should last the rest of your life, problem is there heavy compared to non FA rated, I have a HTG Aries, its heavy compared to Shark 308 can, the Shark is Ti and the Aries is steel and FA rated, my Shark has maybe 1500-2000 rounds thru it, I cleaned it a couple months ago, the baffles showed no signs of wear, the Aries only has 10 rounds thru it.

If going fully auto be sure and buy one rated for that. I now a couple of people that slammed the best baffle into the next one because of full auto fire in. A can not rated for it. Apparently full auto cans release the gas faster than a non auto rated can.

Thanks for the info. I had heard rumors they were only good for a couple K. Wasn't going to waste $$ on such a short life expectancy.

Well if own a M249, shoot it suppressed while showing off 200 round bursts then yes a .223 can may only last a couple thousand rounds, but if you own a M249 then $$$$ is not an issue, and neither will the life of a can.
