Both Centerfire and Rimfire 700 clone actions?

Are there any action companies that are making R700 clone actions that have both centerfire (short action) AND a rimfire single-shot actions?

The only company I've found so far that sells both kinds of actions is Zermatt, but the one rimfire action they sell isn't available as a single-shot receiver and no after-market plug/ramp available (like the Davidson loading ramp for the 700).

It seems plenty of companies make either centerfire OR rimfire actions, but not both.

I have a vision/fantasy of building a new set of silhouette rifles where I have two similar barreled actions/trigger/scopes and one stock that they both fit into. Traveling with one full rifle and one barrel action would be a lot easier than two full rifles.

Just get a Vudoo V22S for the rimfire and a Zermatt for the centerfire. They both use the same trigger, stock and you can drop the same scope on both. You can change the bolt face on the Zermatt easily too. I have barrels in .223, 6mm ARC, 6.5 and 6 Creedmoor and .308.

I built an amazing 22RF rifle a couple of years ago using a RimX action. It shoots OMG good and functions, literally "perfectly"!

If you want a centerfire with interchangeable bolt heads, shouldered prefits, control round feed, integral lug and mechanical ejection in either AICS, AW or single shot, get a TL3. You won't be disappointed (I have 6.. 5 repeaters and a single shot TL3).

For rimfire, I have a Zermatt RimX repeater that is amazing but you are right, by design, you can't single feed it.

You want a single feed rimfire why not get the best action for the job and get a 2500x?? I have a 2500x right bolt left port in a Rotex stock from Randy with a Mullerworks barrel and it's a tack driver.

You'll do just fine with the remingtons 700/40X in centerfire/rimfire. Plenty accurate enough for Silhouette for sure.
