I'd like to pass on my recent experience with Bore Tech:
I bought a 22C36 cleaning rod by Bore Tech from Sinclair about 4-6 weeks ago and then promptly gouged the ever loving crap out of it with my Kimber 82G. There is a little tab built into the bottom of the receiver that just ate my lunch because i thought the slight resistance was from a semi-dry bore (i know, i know). And to add insult to injury, the Bore Tech was actually a replacement for a brand new Dewey that I'd left at a range which quickly grew legs. So now I'm thinking that I've just destroyed my new $45 rod.
I called Bore Tech and spoke with the customer service agent, a guy named Jesse, and he explained that they'd replace the rod in my handle for $10.95 and that they also sell a rod guide/ patch guide combo specifically for the Kimber 82. I shipped them the rod and they had it turned around within a business day.
When I received my rod and new patch guide/ rod guide ($55 for both) yesterday afternoon, I discovered the rod guide did not fit the Kimber 82. So I called Jesse back this morning and he looked into it and explained they'd errantly sent me the incorrect rod guide. The correct rod guide is shipping today. FYI: The rod guide is unique to the action and joins up to a standard patch guide.
To sum it up, he was super helpful and comes across as genuinely caring about my experiences with their products. They also cover down on their mistakes immediately. I don't know anything else I could expect.
