Bore Tech C4 Carbon Remover

I bought some C4. Cleans shot cases well, might be good for cleaning bolts and semi autos, pistols and the like I suppose. It's some kind of soap.

On barrels it doesn't do anything that I can tell. BORETECH ELIMINATOR is all you need for copper and carbon wash, and some kind of abrasive for hard carbon. I use the one of which we dare not speak its name. I love it. Been working like a charm.

I use pro shot carbon remover to clean necks.....it really cleans them in one twist ....
Thinking this may be good for barrel also

Id bet the rust / whatever has more to do with the ambient humidity / climactic conditions and would have happenned whatever cleaner was used, if no protectant was used.
After cleaning the barrel including the carbon ring in front of the case neck, I always run an oily patch down the bore to try and hold the rust at bay. If you are really picky, you can borrow a bore scope to double check the entire bore. I have a good bore scope but seldom use it.

I've just adopted this same practice. Never had a rust problem b4.... don't want to start now. :) Got a Vudoo V-22 I use C4 on and it does a great job mainitaining / restoring accuracy, and I want to keep this gun corrosion free ferever. ":)
