After reading the OP's question I searched this forum using "teslong" and got 7 pages back??? My guess is that the OP did not, from his question. There is nothing wrong with asking a question about a subject that may have been discussed many times, if you have a different or unique need. But do your research first.

Try the mirror with the red band on it. I believe it is 30 degrees if I remember right. It really helps distribute the light and helps avoid both the dark spots and the glare.

Thanks for that. Just checked & all 3 mirrors look the same angle. Not a red band to be seen. Bummer.

Same image quality I get with mine, right out of the box. Added the accessory mirror kit which is nice to have. All you need to do is loosen the small diameter ring the mirror seats against to change focus.
