Bore-Rider polymer jags

I have been using these jags for over a year. I would not use any other jag. The extra length prevents the rod from coming out the end of the barrel during cleaning thus protecting the crown of the barrel. They are strong and leave no false blue you get from a brass jag. A little costly but worth the money for me.

they look like they would work great. The one question that I would have would be how long they would last. Slim

The brush model should last forever but the pointed patch model should be used with reasonable care as I must have forced mine in the edge of the chamber or something and bent the tip a little. It still works fine but I am more careful now and find that if I spin the jag into the patch it punches through easier.
After about 20 cleanings I am really sold on them and was one of his first customers I think. Being clutsy sometimes I feel that it helps me to avoid harming the crown with the rod as the softer delrin? material cushions the transition when pulling the brush or jag back in the muzzle instead of hitting on the metal ferrules on the end of the rod as the delrin is much softer and probably can't even scratch the barrel.

Thanks everyone.
I see a new review also went up this week on the bulletin...

I have to clean in a very confined space. I smacked two of the jags into the wall and snapped the tips off (my fault totally). Any how now I just screw a normal el-cheapo hoppes plastic jag into the end of the brush guide.

This pretty much achieves the same thing as the jag anyhow. I just swap the hoppes jag for a brush when needed.
