Thank you.I ended up liking the Hoppe's best, mostly due to the larger swivel handle. Have had and have Dewey and Pro Shot.
It isn't that one does something better than the other. Both are very high quality rod guides made by people that know what shooters need. I simply prefer the synthetic rod insert (Lucas) for my coated Dewey rods.Why is the Lucas preferred over the PMA
What does one do that the other doesn't.

This is what I also use.All Dewey rods and bore guide, along with brushes and jags.
The bore guide has dual "o" rings to stop anything from getting into action.
