Bore guide recommendation

I’ve been using a 21st Century one for a few years and really like it.

I use several of them with good success but they don’t have the rod guide to keep everything as straight as the Lucas or PMA.
That is incorrect. I have a recently purchased Possum Hollow and it does have a bore guide. Perhaps you ordered incorrectly?

No Sir, I was talking about the little guide that stays on the rod that you slip in the bore guide after you first enter the patch or brush in the guide.
The rod guide has real close tolerance’s to the rod diameter.

Possum hollow has been working for me for many years now. I believe Speedy said PMA is the best, so I think I will try that next time. To be clear, its just that I won't have to carefully examine 22, 6mm, and 6.5 bore guides to pick the right one out of the drawer. I should probably engrave the drawer full of possum hollow guides....

Was using Lucas bore guide, but I believe he is no longer reachable or not replying email.

Wonder what's the alternative option people would recommend? PMA? 21st Century? BoreTech?

Thanks.
Centerfire or rimfire?

For centerfire I really like my PMA's. Just know that it will add a few inches to your needed cleaning rod length, so if you're using it in a long action on a 30"+ barrel make sure you check that your rod will still clear the muzzle.

For rimfire, I think I'm using a Possum Hollow in my Anschutz, but I might be misremembering. Tempted to track down one of those 2-piece that @shortine posted though, if he'd be so kind as to share where he found it... ;)

I wish I owned an Anschutz; I'd make you one. I only make them for CZ 452/455, Ruger 77/22, and Walther KK 500 (photo)...the only .22 rifles I own.

Yes , that is what I am referring to. I had one made for my new 6BRA.
