It's a 720If its a PMA bore guide it should say PMA on it.
I know this is gonna sound funny but measure the main body at the front, where it gets stuck and the end. Could be an error in the machining of it when it was made OR there is a flaw in the material itself.
I received a 4’ stick of 1” from a vender that was 1 1/8” at one end and 1” at the other.
Now measure bolt at front end. Probably is .700", if it is send it back to PMA.
720.. its in the picture above with it stamped in itI have the PMA 720 and it fits perfectly in my BAT Bs. My PMA diameter measures .718". The BAT B receiver bore is specified at .720". What is the diameter of the bore guide that you received?
Yes its a 720 at the start of the guide after the step up from the nipple.Did you measure it?
The problem is in the thicker part of bore guideTry it without the "o" ring
Thats what was happening . That's why I stopped pushing it in. I put some oil in it ans got the guide out of the actionThere is a part of the bore guide that goes into the chamber body, not the neck with the o-ring. As your chamber body is tapered, if you press the guide in hard, you may wedge this part of the guide tight into the chamber. I have had this issue and quit forcing the guide in to tightly.
That's weird. I emailed a couple questions to support@pmatool.com this morning and Pat got back to me in an hour. Maybe give the Contact form on their website (https://www.pmatool.com/contact-us/) a shot or give them a call?I just sent a email to pma and I got it send back me..
I got a call into them and Pat called me. Apparently they had a few bore guides that were out of spec that got shipped. That's weird.
