Bore guide for Remington 513T

Sometime next week I am taking my truck to Ft Pierce to get it painted, Maybe I need to bring it up and see if it will work for you? The one I use is a smaller diameter that uses the aluminum bushing and brass set screw to hold it in place. It may not have the clearance problems. I have a 513T let me try and see if it looks like it will work. I like the Delrin type that fits tight in the bolt raceway also, but didn't want to spend enough for all the ones I would need to clean the whole herd.

Good idea. If it works properly you'll have to tell me the brand and the source.
Thanks for your response.
Are you from PSL~? I'm up in Lakewood Park just below the Indian River County line.

I’m going to state the obvious here, even though I suspect you already know this. Are you pulling the trigger and keeping it pulled as you insert the bore guide? I don’t use a bore guide on my 513t so I can’t say this will allow your guides to insert, but have scratched up my cleaning rod from forgetting to pull and keep the trigger back. Apologize if you already know this.

I was hoping to hear back from you regarding the fit of the bore guide and the 513T.

Here at "jd's Okie Manufacturing", we use aluminum arrow shafts, and various tubing, bushings, and cartridges cases to cobble together some of the most ummmmm-- innovative bore guides you've ever seen.

I can say with some conviction that even a cave man could do it. jd

The Dewey bore guide is somewhat similar to those JD makes. It's an aluminum tube with reduced size that fits the chamber and has an O ring to seal it and not let cleaning solvent into the trigger and stock. The back end has a larger aluminum bushing that fits many receivers and has a threaded brass rod. Push the black tube O ring first into the chamber till it gets tight, then loosen the brass rod so the bushing will move forward and enter the bolt raceway. Push the bushing up tight and tighten the brass rod to hold it in place. Clean as you want after this.
