Remington 513T barrel

So I recently scored a beautiful Remington 513T, a rifle I have been wanting for quite a few years. My plan is to put a scope on it and use it as an FTR trainer. The bore looks great on the rifle as far as I can tell, but I an curious as to what it takes to replace the barrel. Ive seen several remington 513T barrels on eBay for reasonable prices. Are the barrels threaded, pressed in, or is it some other method? Thanks for the help!

If yours turns out to not be what you want, I have one for sale, with scope. It is about 9 pages back in the for sale list due to some on/off interest, so I havn't bumped it

Two lock pins across the bottom of the front receiver ring.

Be aware that you may not be able to just drive out the lock pins, remove the barrel, and install the replacement barrel.
The holes in the receiver appear to not have been drilled using a jig, I have changed barrels on three of these and only one of the barrels aligned with the existing slots on the barrel.

It is a gunsmith job rather than a simple slide one barrel out and slide the new one in.

If it were me and I was lucky enough to obtain a factory barrel that was properly timed, or I installed a new barrel, I'd leave the pins out.

And use what to attach the barrel to the receiver?
Assuming for some reason I couldn't torque to the indexed position, a variety of threadlockers are available. Most are degraded at the temperatures produced by a propane torch for removal.

Edited to add:
After my experience of "gluing" in a barrel on a 54 Anschutz I've become a believer in industrial adhesives. A trip to the Haenkel website shows the uses and their recommendations for Loc-Tite products. Just as an example.

Or you could headspace the barrel and accurately machine the new slots.

Is the barrel threaded as well as pinned? From reading the comments above I was under the impression that it was pinned only, and not threaded.

for what you would pay to have a new barrel installed, you could sell the 513t and buy a good used Anschutz that still shoots.
BTW 99% shure that if the bore looks good, its a shooter. The one I have shoots wolf match target better than any eley, or RWS that I have tried. Have not tried Lapua in it though. It shoots the wolf good enough to hold the outside of the x ring on the prone target at 100yds, I just cant hold it, lol.

Try re-crowning and cleaning it real well, then using only lead (no copper wash) thru it, get it dirty and don't start evaluating groups till you have ten rounds thru it between ammo changes or cleaning. (I might have a little history with these rifles...)

Mine liked T22, Rem target and wolf
