Bore diameter on 6mm BR

How less then 1 thousand of an inch could afect the impact of a bullet. barrel 6mm bore diameter .2360 & .2370 that is almost,0). i need input on this please.frank

Hi Frank....you know the ole saying whats an inch among friends....ahahha...it doesnt change bullet impact so much...but it does effect bullet performance,jacket wash, accuracy,etc etc...it all depends on what bullets you are gonna shoot....the Lapua bullets,euorpean bullets) seem to like the tighter bore because they are smaller bearing surface dia....Roger

the thin is i need a barrel & bruno has it but is .237 bore dia
if any body know who stock kreiger . light palma, 1:8 twist. i will apresiate it .thanks frank

I dont think you can go wrong with a .237,,,,it shuld work with any popular bullet out there...Roger

Does .001" make a difference? Talk to Jackie Schmidt. He put a 6BR .237 Krieger barrel on his rail gun for us. It shot really well with Berger 105s, the old ones that were pretty "fat" at 0.2434" diameter. With 0.2427" diameter Scenar 105s it shot so-so. Jackie concluded "those Scenars just won't shoot".

Later Jackie built a 6BR with a 0.236 Krieger, and tried the "skinny" Scenars again. He said the gun shot like a house on fire. He told me "I never would have believed it. I thought those Scenars just wouldn't cut it. But in a 0.236" they worked great."
