Yep :)

If it's anything like my rimrock br, then it's going to be a sweet action.
I hope you are right, I am looking forward to getting it. I've always wanted a Borden, just when I was buying, the name never popped up.
I'll surely let people know what I think of it, but like I said above, me reviewing a product laughable.

I switched my order from mountaineer to the ss6 right at introduction and was told about 3 months. Jim is putting on the 22br barrel also and it will be pvd coated

Mine is in the first batch somewhere, with a little good fortune I can report back in a month or so.

At this point the JGS reamer will be the schedule deciding item.
Looking at the super short for a 6bra PRS build. It is either this or another Impact. There is precious little end user info good or bad out there. How do you like yours?

I have a 6mm Dasher Super Short 6 setup as a varmint hunting rifle with a 24" Proof Sendero carbon fiber barrel. The action cycles "Super Smooth". Jim Borden hit a home run with this action, I love the action.

Is it possible to extend the magazines with standard extensions and or can you buy 12 round mags from Borden?

I’ve ran a borden mountaineer for 3 years now in PRS competition (i own 3 out of the roughly 110 he’s made). It will cycle and feed BR and BRA cases 100% with a sako style extractor if you let him know this is your plan.

He can cut the mag well for a wyatt extended mag as well which lets you run binderless AICS mags without issue as long as your chassis/stock can get them to align.

This setup lets you run a BR (i’m using mdt mags), or stretched out 6.5 creed in the same action. I don’t see any reason to limit yourself to the super 6 unless you just find it interesting.

Can answer more questions if needed.
