Boosting power of 24X Leupold

Might get back into shooting sports and was wondering if it's cost effective to raise the power of this older scope or to buy new and start over. I used to do pretty good in hbr but that isn't what it used to be. The popular shoots at our club now are shooting for score with the group shooters which leaves very little room for hbr. And the expense of two top shooting rifles is kind of pricey. So what I need to know is, will this Leupold with the power cranked up, and on a good rifle be competetive? Assumeing I do my part.
If the answers yes, who do I get in touch with to do the work.
Thanks a lot for any info.

I would send this 24 X leupold to Wally Siebert and have it boosted to 32 X with a 1/8 dot. You will get back a scope that you can trust . I shot one of these Siebert conversions for ten years and was quite impressed.

Gene Davis sells a lens that you can mount in the rear to boost scopes - search here.

Glenn,
Thanks a lot for the info on the conversion. I think I'll get in touch with Siebert and go that route. Sounds like the best of the two. Booster would be alright if I knew how they stood up to the competition. Thanks again.

Have used the davis 3x booster on my 8.25 x 25 MK4, works very well, image still sharp, very slight change in eye relief.
