leupold mark4 scope boosting???

is any body doing any scope boosting?? i have heard the name ackerman but cant find any info on them..
i dont know if it worth losing the warranty..
i might think about selling the scope and switch to the cometition series. i have a mark 4 lrt/m3
its 3.5-10x30 ..love the scope but just changed routes from hunting to target and need more power..

Dick Thomas at Premier Reticle was the only vendor (that I knew about) that boosted "variable" scopes. Dick had a good relationship with Leupold in that they would warranty Premier boosted scopes.
Dick passed awhile back and Premier no longer boosts variables and I'm not aware of anyone who does. I own four variables 2-18x40x50 and 2-20x50x50's and have never had a problem with them.

Every once in awhile you can pick a Premier boosted scope at www.benchrest.com classifieds.

+ 1 for finding a used Premier Boosted Leupold....also keep your eye on the classifieds here as they do come up ( this is where I bought my last one with an answer to a WTB Ad) also do a google search for Premier boosted Leupold, you find more hits than you'll know what to do with...but search.....also some of the airgun FT Forums have them come up once it awhile.

I also use the Bul eye Pro boosters on my F-Class scopes, they work well, I have the 4X Multi Coat.....it helps read the mirage, give them a try......
