Bolt timing serious problems

I posted on here a while back about getting clicks at the top of extraction. So I sent my bolt to Accutig. When I got it back it was rotated slightly too far to the left and was hitting the hood on the back if the action. I tried to get up with a gunsmith friend for a while and let him do it but never could. So today, on Dan at accutigs instructions, I took a flat file and removed a few thousandths off the hood sit the bolt could move forward. In hindsight, It took 5 minutes and I should have done it months ago myself. Now the bolt hits the cocking ramp but will not cock into position. I made a video to illustrate, anybody know what the problem is now? It looks to me like the handle is too far forward and the lugs are not able to seat in the action???

Your gunsmith can probably fix it in a few minutes.

It appears to me that the bolt handle is touching the primary extraction ramp and is just a few thou too long. A good smith can get it timed up and working smooth in no time.

Be sure to tell the smith what the shooting environment will be like so an appropriate clearance can be made.

Good luck.

Busdriver, I'm worried about losing primary extraction since a lack of it is what put me in this position to start with. Are you saying material needs to be removed off the action cocking ramp?

Personally, I wouldn't take metal off of the action body. Instead, I would be fitting the bolt handle to the action. That said, I'm not a gunsmith and would defer to an expert.
