Bolt Swap

Is the PTG bolt that came with my Stiller Tac 30 interchangeable with a PTG bolt for a Rem SA? I know the head space would require setting to spec. Contemplating a caliber switch between the actions.

With both bolts setting in front of you-
Measure all particulars, annotated onto a hand drawn print & compare.
1.Body Diameter
2.Nose to breech face
3.Nose to fwd surface of lugs.
4.Lug length.
5.Lug width.
6. Anti Bind slot orientation.
7.Aft surface of lug to fwd surface of handle.
8.Receiver/Handle timing.

Stillars are engineered to be some what proprietary.

Thanks Dan but I do not currently have a Rem, thinking of getting the PTG trued one if this bolt swap would work. 223 vs 308 bolt swap is the goal.

You should not expect that they will be swappable. It is possible but too many variables. --Jerry
