Bolt Jeweling

I've jeweled a few bolts with the brushes from Brownells & never have been real happy with them. I think the swirles are to big. Tried the craytex rod & pencil eraser with out much luck. I've seen some custom rifles with swirles about .200 dia. How do those guys do them? I have a lathe & Bridgeport so can make tooling to hold the abrasive but can't figure out what to use.

Trim the rubber craytex rods down to the size swirls you want.... and make a new holder....
