Bolt action bolt tools?

What tools do you recommend having around for maintenance on the bolt from a bolt action rifle? The action in question is a Borden BRM.

My answer is for a Remington 700. Be able to remove the FP assembly from the bolt and to break down the FP assembly to change the spring. Not much else required.

Get a Kleinendorst bolt disassembly tool and a Rem 700 firing pin removal jig. A polymer jewelers block and small pin punch set/brass hammer will complete the kit.

I dont think the rem firing pin tool will work on a Borden? Different thread 1/2 × 20 instead of 1/2 × 13.

Hmmm...maybe not. I did buy the tool from Jim but I assumed the shroud threads were the same as a stock Remy.

Rumor is the Ruger m77 uses the same thread but ive yet to comfirm.
