Sinclair Ejector Tool

never used one myself. What I do is push the plunger in with my finger enough to get a pin gauge to hold it in place then put the spring pin back in. Not really worth the 35 bucks to me. If your worried about taking it apart use a zip lock bag too catch a flying spring.

That’s a good idea on the pin gauge to hold it in place. I don’t have those but could use a smaller mini punch though. Thanks!

I have the bolt disassembly kit, and I use it often. It works well. I do have a Ruger Precision Rifle that has a three lug bolt and that tool doesn't work. I take a piece of fired brass and use the extractor claw to hold the rim and depress the ejector while I remove the roll pin from the bolt body.

You have got me thinking now. I have a bag of roll pins around here somewhere, maybe I could polish one of them down to slide in there to catch the notch while I drive the regular roll pin home.
