Body sizing and shoulder bump

Will a cartridge shoot different and lose the barrel "tune" if you have a killer load you've been shooting without any body sizing and then have to finally body size and shoulder bump?

I'm just wondering if the small decrease in volume after body sizing and shoulder bump is enough to throw your load out of tune.

Thanks

Howdy !

I don't think you'd be changing case capacity much to speak of, however.....

IF you don't FL size your brass for a long time/many shots, and then finally try to do some; you might loose some cases to "case cracking". In particular, there's a risk of case head cracking/ seperation ( however slight ).

It's more likely to happen, if your chamber has a liberal " base " diameter, and case sizing
( subsequent to cartridge firing ) is asking for too much size-down in the case' head/body juncture area.

Thanks for the help.

I guess I'll find out at the Tn. state F-Class in Sept. Although thats a bad time to find out their going to shoot different. :-\
