I a having some problems blowing primers in my 6.5x47L . 3 cases yesterday out of 21 cases The others are fine and the ones blown no signs of primer flow. Went from cci450 to Wolf small mag. Same problem. Charges weighed on RCBS charge master. Full length size brass with Redding S bushing die. Weather at range 68 not hot and bullets not in sun.
load 38.0gr RL-15 120SMK
Would be real happy with some help.

Sounds to me with the info you gave it's not the load but the bolt. Your firing pin and the hole in the bolt face may be a little big. This is not an uncommon problem with rifles that have been rebarreled to this (and other) calibers. Have the bolt bushed it should solve your problem. I had a similar problem with a Remmy rebarreled to 6BRX. Sent the bolt to Gre-Tran and got it back in a week, problem solved.

Had the problem of piercing primers on a 20tac and 6.5x47lapua......both on 700's. The Gre-Tan bushing treatment cured both of these as well. Fast turn around. Just echoing what's already been said.
