Early on you mentioned what is unsafe about black powder? There are many things that must be done when loading black powder cartridges. The powder measures for black powder have aluminum reservoir cause static electricity from a plastic powder measure will set off the black powder. I cannot recite all the things that you must do to load black cause when i read the cautions i decided to use smokeless and to heck with black powder. Use it if you must but read up and know what you need to do to be safe.

Where do you people come up with some of these comments (old wife tales ) about black powder? Research the last time black powder has be set off by static electricity!
