I've only seen one here in this part of NC and a guy had trapped him. I'm sure they're around just very elusive.

My uncle an old trapper from way back, hes gone now, Caught a wolf in a coyote set down along the Mo. river back in the 70s. I guess he followed the river down to Mo. from wherever out west. Made a board to stretch him on. It was a wolf had it looked at by the conservation dept. Doug
