Bix n Andy Tac Sport vs. TriggerTech Diamond

I shoot 3, newer ones, never a problem. A guy I shoot with has had his “fixed” several times and it’s just picky as hell and jams up if you look at it wrong.

They are easy to take apart, clean and put back together. I agree. They do not work dirty and you can’t spray them out like you can a Jewel.

I also found they needed to be cleaned by taking apart. Seemed more often than a Jewell needed.
That said, I really liked the two stage in a 'over the course' rifle.

You just aint been bit yet…. But you will.

Not clear what you are referring to but the OP is asking about a “TacSport”, not the Bix BR triggers. Different animals so let’s not get them mixed up. I have a ton of rounds on my TacSport Pro triggers (all single stage) in -20F to 90F and in rain, sleet, and snow with never a single issue. Extremely reliable over the last handful of years for me so far with no maintenance or cleaning done to them at all.

I also have a Bix BR trigger worked over by Alex Wheeler. Absolutely love the feel and break on it but no real amount of use yet to determine reliability. Time will tell.

Thats the issue. If you get a good one just hold onto it. Always keep a spare in a hanger with the tools to swap it. You wont be able to spray carb cleaner in it and fix it at the match, but you know all this im sure you see it at matches

A voice from the past just got Number 7, 2 Stage Tom Meyers Extreme Trigger .
Have used them in Palma Rifles and F/Class Rifle .
I must like them ?
Getting them can and is a Bitch. I think the post Jackson Models are the better grab ?

I prefer the break of the TT Diamond over the Bix Tac Sport. But I could flip a coin the differences are so subtle.

That’s another great trigger. Mine is the mod22 tactical version. I’ve had thousands of rounds through mine with no issues. I have the light springs installed and set the trigger to single stage with a 1lb break.

Also been using the Bix Tacsport pro with no issues in dusty environments.

I tried the TT Diamond and thought it felt good.

@Dusty Stevens which model Bix have you seen issues with?
