looks like you have a few folks interested. I'm willing to pay a deposit or something. maybe require some earnest money, then if they back out you've still got the product and the deposit. we own a restaurant and collect the money up front, all but eliminated walk offs

the answers have led him further down the manufacturing path and not just announcing pre-sales. that is my take on it and he does not have the hinge mechanism done up yet to work. Jeff
Why would this be in the market place?
So here is what we can do. I can make a handful of them. If you as a group decide on a color that fulfills the lot minimum (we'll say 10), we can do that color on my dime. If we can't get enough guys to buy in on that color, I'll send them out without anodize or if you really want it, you can split the cost of anodizing for that color with the other gentlemen. Is that a fair compromise?
Again, this is me soliciting opinions and advise. I am not selling them, yet. If I do sell them, I will collect a deposit. 50% up front, 50% on completion. My reputation is very good on here. I have made a ton of bullet trays for the members here.

JUST CHECKING ON THE STATUS?
Prob wants you to put it in the "market place" so he can "offically" buy one from you..
But discussion about prices and cost from what i understand are not allowed in the posts placed in the "market place".. a forum is a melting pot of ideas. I am sure that once he has a base line set as to what he can "offically" make them for and be comphy with it. Then the item will be "offically" posted in the "market place".. until then.. it is nothing more than an idea being melted down in the forum..
