Just curious if you'd all be interested in something like this. My main concern is the weight, it would weigh in the neighborhood of 3.25lbs.
Pros:
Solid aluminum, so it won't crack or break. Relatively rugged
It will be sealed with an oring to keep dust/water out of it
CNC push button latch and release
Stainless steel hinge pins
Anodize and Custom engraving would be available
Cons:
Weight
Limited to .284 and under calibers.
Cost would be around $150 (I don't make the hardware, and it's fairly expensive). Trying to gauge interest and if I should proceed with the idea.
