Bighorn origin magazine feeding

I’m all but done with a build I have been working on. I went with a bighorn origin, prefit barrel in 6xc, bergara hmr stock and factory bottom metal. The only aics mag I had to try was a savage from one of their chassis rifles. It clicked in no problem but I had to push prettty hard to get the bolt to push the round out of the mag. Was in a hurry so didn’t try running the bolt with mag installed without a round. Is there a certain aics magazine I need to purchase ? Thanks guys

AICS is AICS but with that said Ive had varying degrees of success with different mags.

Ive Found that polymer mags would seat higher than most metal mags. And with metal mags I’ve had the most success with MDT mags for 6.5 CM rounds.

And in almost all cases mag latch/catch tuning for the right length is often needed when you’re using actions and chassis’s and mags from different makers.

Thanks for the replies. I got a magpul aics and it feeds my rifle like a dream which was a relief. I call it build complete !!!!
