big mess up any help?

when to the gun store n ask for some n140. Got home n loaded about 250 rounds with 24.1g of what i thought was n140 when i went to add more to the hopper saw it was n135 can't find much info on n135 for .223 any help? shooting 77smk thanks for any help

Not sure if the 24.1gr of N140 was a max load for your rifle, but 24.1 of N135 is going to increase your pressure by about 2400 psi and increase MV by about 35fps according to QL and guessing on barrel length of 20". This is just me plugging in your data and you should use caution here.

I used N-135 for 75's and 77 SMK's in bolt guns all the time before the "shortage", worked great but think your a little on the heavy side with your load, pull 'em and start over for safety........

themayor...I use 23.5gns of N-135 with a 69gn SMK. The VihtaVuori Reloading manual show a max load of 23.3gn of N-135 with a 75gn Hornady BTHP. When in doubt---DON'T! Good luck....gpoldblue

dont feel like the loan ranger, i bot some rl 7 to load in 221 with 50 gr bullets, a month later
grab the aa 7 and loaded 16gr, 3450fps on the first and only shot -- pulled the bullets, 40x held the load, case ejector pin melted in, case ejected, good extractor?

now i take a felt tip and mark the lid of RL 7 rifle and aa 7 pistol!!!!!

pull those and start over, i did on the rest of those loads after i got my nerves settled.

Just a update used a bullet hammer and got like 10 done before it broke ordered a Hornady Cam Lock Bullet Puller and man that thing in nice n quick no marks on the bullet at all pulled them all in like a hour with it
