The end game is total control. The obstacles to that goal are free thinking, self supporting, and armed citizens. A large portion of the US population is already dependent on the government, take away the ability to resist control (firearms) and free thinking becomes irrelevant. Remember Tiananmen Square?

We have a limit on rounds in a clip\magazine here in Australia, thinks its about only 5. I am a target shooter and have single loading rifles only so not sure. Assault rifles or ones that look like them were banned years ago and Semi-auto had extra restrictions placed on them so not every Joe can get them unless he has a valid reason - Like Feral animal control etc. We also have laws that you have to store your guns and ammo up safely which means a lockable gun safe or equivalent. It got guns from under beds and in the backs of wardrobes away from those who should not have access. They have a saying here that they drum into us, "Secure your guns and secure your sport". Breach of safe storage rules means instant loss of guns and license. Sounds like some of things things are headed your way.

Seems to me he has to play by the rules. Nobody likes the rules.
I have read before that in Australia, citizens have no legal right to self-defense.
I really find that sad but also very unnatural. Self-defense to me seems the most
basic natural right of any living creature and how any government can justify and
rationalize that it isn't to the people is beyond my understanding,
In Australia and many other countries for that matter. the people have apparently
complied with that logic. Maybe there is another way of seeing it that my head
is incapable of imagining.

I don't believe in locking firearms up "to save the children." Teach them respect for firearms. When my Grandkids were young I had a couple of pistols in drawers that were easily accessible to me..... But the ammo was in a place where I thought it was safe from them where they couldn't find it.

Broken oaths and breach of contract, from Day One, each and every time these cretins lift a finger against us all in such ways.
Proposed: amendment to the Constitution expanding treason to include the specific act of defilement of the Constitution's prohibitions regarding the plain understanding of the BOR. The rights and liberties are held by the People themselves, as individuals, and they may not be taken from them. I've no idea how to phrase it simply enough and harshly enough that it'd rein-in these fools. Of course, it'd have to pass two-thirds of both Houses as well as three-fourths of the states themselves.
