best WHITE TAIL scent attractant?

Just my .02, but I do not believe in cover scents. A whitetail's nose is easily capable of smelling multiple different scents at the same time. You have to hunt the wind, period.
As far as attractants, I think they might be effective for positioning the deer but I doubt they really pull a deer in. In fact I think they may do more harm than good by the time you stink the place up while placing the attractant.

Do you hunt White Tail ?

and if you have a favorite cover scent, what is it?
I don't need attractants where I hunt, farmland deer with all the good feed they need . For cover scent I always use what's local in the woods...mushrooms,moss,rotted wood, leaves, etc . .I don't get filthy with it just smear it on my clothes and make sure my boots are fully covered . Reading the wind is not the end game,if you don't stink up the place they will still come in noses high walking into the wind . They get real curious , especially if you are calling.

Lot of truth here. Be careful getting in and out, play the wind always, locate natural funnel areas and wait it out. Something will come along. Around here that’s the end of October until mid November.

For Archery hunting I use Scent Away on my boots, clothes, and gear a then I use Ever Calm Deer Herd and an occasional spray of Tinks 69 during the rut. I’ve filled by buck tag during Archery for the last 3 years. Not sure if my process helps, but I don’t feel like it’s hurting me.

For gun hunting I don’t really do anything special other than to try fuel my truck or pick up any offensive odors.

I've used all those scent eliminators, sprays, attractants. Haven't had anything I can say is 100% successful using any of them. I agree that the whitetails sense of smell is so acute that you'd be hard-pressed getting anything by one to cover up human scent. One thing I have not tried is the ozonics. I do a lot of mock scrape reproductions in my hunting areas and they work very well at having deer answer those mock setups. Using the wind in your favor is probably the best thing you can do to eliminate the whitetails sense of smell and getting busted while close for the shot.

VS1 week before and during the rut, I like herd in a stick(calming scent) around and along my trail to stand. Don't place scent where the buck will get downwind of you while working to the scent. There really isn't any scent that will "cover" human scent. I see hounds all the time get a face full of skunk and still have no problem trailing both fur and feathered game. Best you can do is minimize your scent, I believe this can confuse the deer about HOW close you are. Of course always being downwind is best. I have not tried Nose Jammer, I don't trust cover scents. Ozone generator is probably the best odor neutralizing device also works great for killing viruses and bacteria. Should not inhale O3.

Best cover sent I have used is Red Fox Pee. I spray the bottom of my boots and when I get to my hunting site I hang up a couple old plastic 35mm film bottles with cotton balls in them soaked in the pee. It has worked pretty good for over 30 years for me. I have actually had deer come right to me with their nose to the ground trailing me right where I walked into my stand.

As far as an attractant like doe in heat products. I have seen bucks attracted by them but I have seen more spooked by them so I quit using them.

I just wash my clothes in borax and spray my hat and boots with scent killer gold.

I will confidently say nothing is going to bring deer in from miles away, but good quality/ high calorie foods like roasted soybeans, whole cottonseed Or protein pellets will usually keep them around once they stumble across them. Does are very easy to localize, and we all know what that means come November.

I feed these things all you can eat style in gravity feeders. Very expensive, but it works very well.

Biggest buck I event hunted in archery season came in nose down like a beagle, only problem, it was so dark till he got under me I could not see my sights. He was directly under me, I did not shoot, never saw him again. The majic elixar was Tinks Doe In Heat. I had it on a scent pad on my boot sole last 100 yds to my tree. Downside, I have quite often seen it spoke other deer. I quit using scents. Just be as scent free as you can make yourself. Couple of years ago I sprayed a product that was suppose to remove all scent on some laurel I had to brush through to get t,o my stand. Buck comes along about 1/2 hour later, hits that spot, goes on full alert, goes back the way he came.

I spray my shoes and pants from the knee down. Clothes stay outside hanging from branches in a yew tree and if rain is in the forecast, they go in a tub I keep outside. Having said that, I know guys that get off work smelling like Gomer Pyle at the filling station, smoke, chew or do snuff, get in a tree stand and archery and gun kill deer on a regular basis.
