Best top for 4” stock in BR?

I sent these to Edgewood several years ago. Also asked about having each of the ears have their own fill chamber so the sand won't migrate. Last spring they came out with these:

I thought about the seperate chambers at one time for the 4" but when I saw Curt Knitt's seperate L shaped bags with a width adjustable top to accommodate my 6" set up I knew I wanted to go that route.
Worked well for me last season.

I went with the L front bags on the X

Was that something he made/makes for a Farley rest?

It can be. It's adjustable. The pic looks to be set narrower, maybe for 3" forearm. On mine, I think it has three sets of holes for course adjustment, then has a range where the side blocks can be spread apart or squeezed together. Maybe @Hotrod6.5 will add some details.

If it was easily adjustable from 3-4 inches I might try it. If I want to shoot UL and Custom I have to bring two rests and break everything down ever relay and it’s just not worth all that to me.

I agree. After reading on it, it looks like the 3-4" range only requires you loosen the blocks and slide them in against the stock..or spread open, of course, for the wider of the two. It comes with a wrench but I added two handles to mine to make it tool less. Similar to the ones on the seb and farley rests. I'll take a pic and add it here in a minute.

I don't have a 4in stock here to try but it looks like it opens to barely under 4in without any course adjustment. You're welcome to try mine at the first match we're at.
