How full - out with the play sand, in with the heavy sand

I filled my bags years ago ... and was / am a field shooter so my rear bag had play sand in it.

The question - OK now I’m putting heavy sand in my rear bag / front rest bags...

What is the best practice on how “FULL” the ears are vs. the bottom on the rear bag...
Same question for the rest bag..

I use an 80/20 mix in the rear bottom about 90% filled
The ears are playground sand 90% filled
The front is course paver sand at 90% filled
The rear bag conforms nicely to the buttstock.

Keep your play sand- youll probably want to put it back in there

I’ll have to see how I like shooting with it, I’ve shot with the play sand for decades.
