Best spotting scope for under $300

Looking for something with the best glass at 50x or greater. Will only be viewing targets at no more than 300yds.

What’s your guy’s suggestions?

Celestron might have something for you. At that price point, I would think your rifle scope may work better....Regards

I won’t be using it while I’m shooting. It’ll be on a tripod behind the firing line.

Celestron works fine for me spotting at fclass matches. A couple of years ago there was a lengthy thread about upgrading the eyepiece to achieve a significant improvement, which you could do later if desired.

I use a Celestron at 200 yds, can see 223 holes pretty good.
