So..... is there a problem with Valdadas holding point of aim or tracking?Valdada is the holy grail of ppc scopes... well they are if you have a scope checker, if not anything else will work fine.

No theres not. Thats why its the only scope ill use on a ppc.So..... is there a problem with Valdadas holding point of aim or tracking?
It is so strange that no one is even mentioning Nightforce, which is the most popular scope one the line anywhere I go...

If I may ask " 36x42 Vadada has a 1.16 exit pupil, how long did it take to get use to that size ?
Jim
Must be my glasses,I go from weavers to nightforces, leupolds to marches and have never even given a thought to exit pupil. I can see with the valdada as good or better than any scope short of a nf comp
That may be due to the rings, base, stock combo. When you get behind the gun, everything should line right up. If you have to hunt for the picture through the scope, then the scope isn't in the right place.Must be my glasses,
I struggle with smaller exit pupil.
Thx
Jim
Daydreaming about buying a new scope for my 6ppc that presently has a Leupold 36x. Just wondering what the best options are with the pros and cons.
I see that the the Leupold 45x is very popular. Sightron has recently released a new 45x scope as well.
March has recently released a new 48x52 “Highmaster”. They also have a 50x52 that is still available on the shelves.
What is the best option?
Thanks

Of all the scopes I have or have had over the last 20+ yrs of both short and long benchrest, the only 2 I have never returned to the factory for service or repair are my 40 and 45 Leupold Competitions. Just saying.......I am sure your aware most bad groups are a result of scope failure,Daydreaming about buying a new scope for my 6ppc that presently has a Leupold 36x. Your probably right, time for taller ringsThat may be due to the rings, base, stock combo. When you get behind the gun, everything should line right up. If you have to hunt for the picture through the scope, then the scope isn't in the right place.
That said, it could also be a sign that your hold and position isn't consistent. I do agree small exit pupil is difficult. I sold my 45x leupold because of it. My vortex GE is much easier by comparison.

I’d love to try a Valdada. How is their warranty?
Dont know, havent needed it.
I'd love to hear from someone who has needed to use it.
Yeah but you’re not showing up at a short range match.
I like
Valdada And March scopes
Because they hold POI better then any of the other scopes mentioned in this thread and I’ve owned them all.
