If it's to be a working gun, and assuming you're right handed, why do you want the cases ejecting out in front of your face?

Becasue over this side of the pond our steering wheel is on the other side of the car to yours

Most of my shooting/culling of pest animals is done from the driver seat asn I'm sick of brass ejecting out the window into the paddocks

I want it to eject into the cabin and then the kids can go looking all over the cab in the morning.-- be a game for them- find daddys brass-ha ha ha

A lot of shooting/culling in Australia is done at night using a spotlight
Deer are off limits but all other Ferals/declared pests or animals shot under a government "destruction permit" are all fair an legal.
There are some minimum caliber restrictions --a factory 50 grain 222 load-- exceeds these.

Do you guys in CONUS do much spotlighting of pest animals?

thanks

Jail for shooting from the cab-- do you guys spotlight at all??

How do you guys cull rabbits or gophers or PD's if they get into plague number if you dont shoot from the truck at night?

If your shooting by yourself over here from the cab is the normal way of things

We try and have 3 and in a pickup
driver, light man and shooter and rotate during the night

shooter and light man are in the back of the pickup, we call them utes over here) with a rest,
but
if by yourself we just pull sideways to the animsla and use a window rest- either a pool noodle on the glass or a built on window rest

Need ejection and magazine feeding--- if the PredV can come like that I will consider it.

lol i come from wisconsin gotta be atleast 50 feet off the road but its the loaded gun in the vehicle thats illegal, if they want to be a prick they can really hammer ya with a felony

Prairie dogs and ground squirrels are diurnal, so no point in trying to shoot them at night.

Rabbits and jackrabbits, hares) can be spotlighted, legally) in Oregon, at least, if you have the landowner's permission. In many states shining a spotlight from a vehicle containing a loaded firearm is illegal, period, and in many other states you can't shoot from a vehicle day or night, except for physically disabled hunters). So it varies a lot by state in the U.S.

I shot lots of possums and rabbits at night when I visited NZ -- heaps of fun!

If you must have a repeater with right bolt/left port/left eject none of the current Predators will work. The PredatorV is RBLP but single-shot only, and the Predator repeaters all have the bolt and port on the same side. You might ask Jerry Stiller if he could put a PredatorV through the machining step that cuts the magazine relief. The flat for the relief is already there, see photo). And I'm sure you can get the PTG bolt with an ejector that will kick the case to the left.

I haven't found a hunter-class BR action in RBLPLE -- good luck!
