Best Primer tool

What the best hand held primer tool you guys have owned? I have used Lee Auto primes forever but sometimes priming Lapua brass is tough. I want one like the auto prime where you can do 50 or more at a time. Thanks in advance for your help.

There was a thread discussing this within the last two months. I ended up buying a Forster Co-Ax bench priming tool. I modified a round primer flipper tray so I can insert the feed tube in it and not spill any primers.

Anyway a quick search will get you what you're looking for.

I like the Hornady one, I use the auto prime as well, but prefer the Hornady. The auto prime is used for my more common sizes and is always set up for the 223 and 30-06 sized cases.

it is lapua brass that is the issue not the lee tool.
radius the top of the primer pocket a bit and they prime much easier.

i too use a lee a lot, tho i do own old lee single prime tools that i use also..and dillon 550's.

If you want power & feel, the 21st Century tool is the best I've ever had, and I've had most of them at one time or another. It is a one at a time handtool, so a little slow. Though I had an RCBS bench mounted primer seater many, many years ago, I can't remember much about it.

+4 for 21st century
I have the "original" one that uses the lee round try. Hang in there John is supposed to be coming out with a benchrest model with a tray in 2014? I am waiting patiently to send john more money.
Cheers,
Sean

+ 5 for 21 century it's the same as Sinclair which is top notch but 21 is a lot faster.
+6 for the 21st Century tool. I used it about 3 times and threw out every other one that I had. Best priming tool of the bunch IMHO, but if you're into cranking out hundreds of rounds an hour.... you might want to look elsewhere. WD

I use the
K&M w/ dial indicator for competition reloading.
RCBS Hand Primer for single stage pistol reloading.
RCBS Ammo Master for 5 station turret pistol cartridge reloading.
RCBS Ammo Master Ram Prime for 50BMG reloading.

I own an RCBS and a Sinclair primer tool.
I use the the RCBS when I'm loading 357 or 44's.
When I'm loading rifle cartridges, which I want to be extremely accurate, ;) I use the Sinclair.
I'm a happy guy.

Rcbs universal priming tool. Don't have mess with shell holders.

Its a great hand priming tool and I have two, one set up for SR and the other for LR primers. No more need to bother with shell holders or the need to swap from LR to SR on the one tool.

+6 for 21 century
I have had Redding T7 and Hornady Lock-n-Load/Progressive with their primer systems and seemed to work well.
Currently have a Hornady Classic and Forster with priming systems OK, but no match for my Christmas present from the wife:

The most unique feature: The CLICK HEAD for Primer Seating
Adjustment: Each click of the head equals .0025 for precise seating depth.
All stainless steel components with aluminum handle.

I use a K&M and it works well. It is kind of a pain to load a small rifle primer in it, but I am not sure any of the hand held primers that load a primer at a time are any better in this regard.

Another + for the 21st Century single primer tool. I used to use the Lee Auto Prime with my BR reloading but got tired of breaking off the corners of the plastic trays and frequent misprimes. Don
