Looking at Redding Type S full bushing, LE Wilson bushing full length or Whidden Gunworks bushing full length. Any others that I should look at? I was leaning towards the Whidden, but I ran across a thread on another site where they were causing a little trouble though. Out of spec and rough chambers and some dies had to be sent back.

I have used the forster, Hornady and rcbs and sent them to JLC precision and had him convert to bushing Dies that I think are better than the Redding dies. The other dies seem to size the body a little all the way down to the base as it seems on some cases the Redding dies will push the shoulder back with out touching the body at all, I like to bump the shoulder back just a little while sizing the body just a little. I use a Whidden for 6BRX it works very well, less than .001 concentricity.
Harrel's do not make reloading dies themselves..
As for fit' finish and quality for a non custom die-Triebel guntools in Germany, makes the best ones i have come across, have owned dies from every one of the other mfg's suggested so far too.
But no matter, the best die for your rifle will be the one closest matching your rifles chamber, and none of us can say witch one that is for sure.

If I might suggest, sometimes it boils down to what die you find matches your rifle (non-custom die) and what you find is the most convenient to use. Of course, the name on the die oft times influences what people choose. Personally, I look upon Whidden and Harrell as "custom dies" makers and expect them to out perform others. BTW, I do not compete. But over the years, I've found Redding dies to be the most versatile to use and easiest to make slight adjustment without any tool other than you hands and finger. Each of us posting a response, goes with what works for them and writes something nice about that die maker. For instances one responder wrote about the great concentricity he gets with the dies he uses. But then that's based upon his experience. And I really like my Redding FL Dies and my Wilson Seater dies. But I've also experienced that those cheap azzed Lee FL Dies give better concentricity than some of the more expensive and "better made" dies others have mentioned. Whether that's by design, luck or just a better batch of dies in that run, is your guess as good as mine. And I use Harrell and Reddings Presses. So settle in on whatever you decide and the dies that you think make you the happiest and work the best for you. If you think about it, all those mentioned die makers keep selling dies day after day and year after year. People wouldn't buy them if any where bad. The choice my friend, is your's!
