I have the K&M tool and it works great, Its what I use now for nk turning. I think the reason John made his the way he did is to make it more difficult for you to manipulate the brass, using his new tool it would be very difficult to mess up the turning operation because of its flexibility. I can see by the video that your brass should be very consistent even if your not very consistent holding the drill as with the K&M adapter you HAVE to be very consistent with every part of the operation or your neck concentricity will suffer.
