CZ457 with a simple $5 spring swap brought it down to 8 oz. Very nice...

Can you share what spring and where to get?

I don't remember what it's called exactly. Just do a Google search for CZ457 8 oz trigger spring and you'll see it. I also did lighten the trigger before putting that spring in.

Just replaced the spring and have adjusted the trigger down to 10 oz for a trial run. Those McMaster springs I got were just a tad short and I had to ever so slightly stretch it a little to get tension on the trigger even. Is that par for these replacement springs from McMaster?

I’ve used a few of them and haven’t had that issue. Are you using the springs with part numbers ending in 611 or 612?

My factory springer air rifles, Diana 75s, FWB 300S, and TX2000, have factory triggers at 2.5-3.0 ounces. Walter LGU 6 oz. All 2 stage and crisp. Might be why I enjoy them so much.
