Best Concentricity Gage?

I have owned both the Accuracy One and now have the Century 21. Both are similar in some aspects such as the wheel and dial indicator. I was experiencing difficulty with both gauges until I realized you have to only put very light tension between the tip of the dial indicator and the object being measured. If you play around a bit with watching the indicator dial as you press it on to the bullet or case you will see it does not take much to get an accurate reading. I also make sure my brass is free of any lube like imperial sizing wax so the wheel has good grip on rotating the case.
Both gauges are very well made and like most things take a little time and patience to master.

Do you feel the Accuracy One justifies an almost $100 difference in price? I'm sure if it gets used enough it won't matter. I'm just wondering if this will be a gadget I use to get my ammo to spec then store up on a shelf...

I do not. There is little to no difference in my opinion. I believe both are quality instruments. Take the savings and buy bullets.

A few points. I don't think you get your ammo up to specs and then forget about it and put the gauge away.
I always check my cartridges during any loading session. Not every round but some at regular intervals.
Also some of the features are extremely useful. Such as having a adjustment screw for setting the indicator point. This may seem like a small thing but its not. It makes setting the indicator much easier than trying to hold and lock the indicator in place. Mount the indicator in place and just turn the screw for your desired pointer travel. And having a small wheel attached to the turning wheel allows you to keep any oil. grease, etc.. away from the turning wheel to help prevent slippage. Now, whether this is worth a substantial price increase to you.......

I have been using Sinclair's Concentricity Gage and it work great. Quick and easy to set up and like all of them and every other precision tool it takes a little getting use to but once you do you will get accurate consistent results.
That being said I have had my eye on a Accuracy One for quite some time. Missed one on the classified awhile back. Hoping to find another.
