Best Carbon Cleaner

Here's a link from the Home Depot page. I'm sure Boretech has one available on their site too.

well if this stuff has DMSO in it then I guess gloves are in order to assure other compounds are not being pulled into our body as a side effect of using it. I remember the early days of DMSO and how they were pulling all sorts of stuff into the body, like for joint issues. One needs to keep that in mind, can pull good or bad things in ;-)

"it could penetrate the skin and other membranes without damaging them and could carry other compounds into a biological system"

Interesting, I asked Boretech today and only got one question answered. I asked about the SDS again.

Question:
Where can I find the "safety data sheet" for each of your cleaning products?
bore cleaner, carbon remover, copper remover.
Specifically do your products contain any "Dimethyl sulfoxide"
Thanks,
Jeff

to me, Customer

Jeff,

Thank you for contacting us.

No, none of our cleaners contain DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide).
No need when you have properly formulated cleaners

( Dimethyl sulfoxide ) This too is available on Amazon for cheaper than the Breakfhrough or Boretech
if one needs to save some money...I have no interest in it myself, but thought id mention it anyway.
Why pay for the added water in it.

HD, Wal-mart, target, are getting on the amazon band wagon, you can order all kinds of stuff that they dont have in store but can order online and it ships from whom ever makes it.
To this point, a couple times stuff that I ordered off of Amazon was shipped by Walmart.

I've found this one works very well, YMMV of course.

+1^^^ Thoro clean cleans faster and more completely than anything else I've tried and that is a long list....... just follow their directions. JME. WD

For what's it's worth, I still use Citrus based Piston Kleen for the
harder jobs. I have no need to look for something else.

I have seen this video and through my bore scope I see zero evidence of etching. Not that it doesn't but I haven't noticed it. CLR works very fast so it's in the bore maybe a minute or two at the most before I flush the bore with alcohol. On paper at 200 yards, CLR shows no damage to my rifles bores.

Barrel manufacturers say your warranty is voided if you use CLR.
