Best bullet for 100/200 6BR 13.5 twist

I am not that experienced, but I am using Berger 6mm Columns. The lot I have are 64.2 grains and shoot well, though in a 1:13.5 but 6PPC.

New to the game, but have been shooting the Column bullets over 31 grains of Varget. Rifle is a Bat B action, Krieger 1-13.5", in a McMillan F-class stock. My last 3 5-shot groups at 100 yds measured .144", .157", and .161" (center to center.)

Still waiting on the long range barrel.

Why do you choose the BT over the FB? Is one better at something than the other?

I agree with the others that Bart makes VERY good bullets. He's a nice guy to deal with and in my experience with them, their bullets are consistent from bullet to bullet and lot to lot.

As far as choosing a BT over a FB, for me that decision is a bit more perplexing. I like the ease of seating on the BT during reloading and like the thought that the slight increase in BC may help my groups or score at say 200yds. But in the end, I work with all the variables and try without bias to find a load/bullet with both BT & FB that the RIFLE likes best and that load is what goes along on match day. JME.WD
