Fast twist 6BR bullets

What are the best bullets for a fast (13.5) twist 6BR? I realize the weight will be about 60-68 grains but what about base? BT or flat? How far out to you think this will shoot in good conditions?
Thanks in advance!

First Bob, a 1-13.5 is a pretty S-L-O-W twist. I would imagine that a 68gr bullet and N133 would work with that. However, I do not shoot light bullets but others on here do and they could help with load development..

Bergers 65gr Bullets #: 24409 would be my vote

i guess all barrels will react differently to Any number of bullet brands, plus the variables in powder an primer an case, then it would depend on your application as well..!

fwiw... my 14tw.. will shoot Sierra 75gr bullet pretty well..

I shoot 68 grain flat based bullets(arnette's) with h322 and am now trying some powders to see if the suggested ones like n135 will work better. But with 28.6 of h322 out of one of my BR's it is a great shooter for sure. Dont be afraid to experiment with powders and bullets till you find what it likes,it wont take long as BR's are fairly easy to tune.

Don't rule out the 70 grain ballistic tip or blitz king. Both have shot very well in my 14 twist barrels with benchmark. They won't shoot as well as match bullets, but I've never had any trouble getting regular 5 shot groups in the low 3's and they hit varmints hard, if that's your thing.

Hornady used to make a 75 grain flat base hollow point that was a sleeper for sure. Perhaps they still make them, I haven't looked for them in some time.
