Best Budget Annealer

The Ugly Annealer! Made very well in Australia from all stainless parts. Large hopper holds over 200 223 sized cases. Large and small wheels for different length brass, all the inserts needed for all diameter brass. I’ve used mine for 17 Fireball up through 300 WSM. I’d buy it again without any hesitation.

I have one as well and would absolutely recommend it.

But... It ain’t ‘made in Australia’ unless China has a province somewhere named Australia... :)

I think I paid right around 200 for mine about a year ago new from a sale on Amazon. At that price I could not pass it up. Box claimed that it was a newer version with a longer life motor...

I have the taller AGS, I think v3 and I simply set it in an old cake pan or even better an aluminum cookie sheet. Not only do they capture the cases as they fall but they conduct the heat away so the cases cool quickly. No need to get all fancy, just grab a hammer and pound the nail in...

Another vote for AGS. I have one of the first series that were sold and it continues to work perfectly each and every time. Mine is very basic, an on/off switch and a little speed dial. No fancy led’s, or anything else that lights up, but I do 50 cases in only a few minutes. The very best part about the AGS is that it only measures six inches square. It takes up very little real estate on the bench top.

Think some parts are sourced from China but not all. Bought one from the US seller 2mos ago, US & Australia flags laser etched on the base.

Nonetheless, it's well made and I like it. Small footprint, large case capacity and does what I need. ;)

I am more than happy with mine as well.

Chinese kids laser engraved the Australia flag on it though! :)

Chinese quality is possible ‘if’ whoever in particular spec’d it when ordering the manufacture.

Example: Grizzly tools are usually China made but they spec them to last and check to make sure they were built to their specs. That’s why the China motor in my Grizzly shop air filter has been able to run continuously / not stop (as in only gets turned off during filter changes) for the last 10 years or so and will likely last at least 10 more. :)

Out of the last 10 years the only time that thing has not been running was during filter changes or the once in a blue moon power outage that never last long.
