Best $300 Annealing Machine?

Well the ugly annealer on Amazon dropped by $15 and jumped on it.
Got it today and very well packaged and loooks pretty sturdy.
Hoping to try it out on my 204 ruger brass.
Since it dropped by a little I’m thinking of ordering the 22 hornet insert even though I don’t have that caliber (maybe in future)

Not $300 but $595 and still a good value IMO. I've had one for years and it works fine once you learn to follow the directions.

I will be around 350 but that is with a new metal case included and that cost already 80usd, you need to shop around on ali and some handynes is prefered i guess. Just ordered all my parts yesterday, looking forward to build it.

My new EP Integrations annealer arrived today. I chose this unit because it quickly and easily accommodates pretty much all cartridge sizes with no changing of parts. I run almost exclusively small batches, and so, while not ideal, the single feed aspect was not a significant drawback to me. Unboxing and Set up was super easy.
Here's it is in the guest bathroom (wife: "your moving whatever the heck that thing is, right?")

If any of you fine gents could get me exact dimensions on your AGS annealer, I would appreciate it. I want to build an elevated base for the one I have on order.

Good to see you too have a good sense of safety with the fire extinguisher right there. A must have for sure.
But if you're annealing in the bathroom, where is your reloading bench? Inquiring minds want to know.

So, ordered the Ugly Annealer from Amazon last night for $285 and it has been shipped already with an arrival date this Saturday. I guess it’s a good thing I ordered last night, was showing a buddy at work what I ordered and the price was $333! I wonder if they put automatic price increases on stuff that has activity… Or was it just for me because I was looking at it.
Crazy I got mine Tuesday and picked up a hose today to run some this weekend. I was very impressed with the wheels and construction of the ugly annealer.
The unit is made I think in Australia so not sure if they ship couple units to us and restock when needed.
There is an authorized repair person I think in Colorado and sells the unit on eBay for 369 with torch.
Tempted to order the 22 hornet insert to have on had as there is a open slot in the holder.

+1 for the Ugly Annealer. For the money it’s hard to beat.

^^^^^^^^^^6 BRA brass last a very long time without annealing, nevertheless have you looked at this one ?

AGS annealer. 5.6875" side to side/front to back, outside dimension. Metal thickness is ~.0625". 3" height.
I use blocks of wood with a 1/8" saw cut 1/4" deep on each side to elevate the base. I know it is hot brass and wood is flammable, but no fires yet.
I purchased an AGS annealer around a year ago and I am happy with it. Sells for $275 today. Rotating turret, hand fed type annealer. Sturdy and compact. Have to manually set dwell time. One torch holder is standard, can order second torch holder for extra. I was a little worried ordering something from Serbia, but it turned out fine.
If your adventurous, on utube there is an induction annealer video titled "DIY induction annealer". I have a torch annealer with auto feed and twin torch that I built, and it did a good job. About 4 months ago , built the induction annealer, and even adapted it for water cooling the coil. I honestly believe I get better results with the induction annealer. With 6mm Norma Dasher brass, I anneal for 7.75 seconds, and the seating pressure is consistent, and my es and sd are better. For about $250-300 you can do a set up with the water cooled coil. Watch the video...though it might be a little more of a process to use, the results are 100% repeatable. And if you are handy, you can rig an auto case dropper and feeder, buts that's pretty involved....rsb
