No because as I stated when I buy a barrel or a rifle I buy enough components to last that barrels life it's not rocket science
We are all in the same boat. I have changed to Sierra 107's for the BR. Seems to like the load, at 100tds anyway. Our season is just starting.
I have heard today that Lapua have appointed a new NZ agent - and the first supplies land at the end of the month. Somewhat limited, but Palma brass will be included. !05 Scenar's will be a reasonable alternative if Berger or Sierra supplies dry up. Hornady - who knows - nothing about. And I could do with 78's for the 223, so I have ordered 77g Lapua to try out, as no 80g Sierra available.

It sounds like your much worse off than the UK..
Buying 3000 or more bergers in one hit is a big chunk of money too outlay..

Well, I just had a .284 built, so there is that. I have brass and primers and 13lbs of H4831sc. Berger said that they had several million 180 hybrids being produced to the dealers before I ordered the barrel and I was on the wait list from several places. Most did not even send an email, before they were gone, and some claim they had thousands ordered and never showed up. Optics Planet actually allows for prepayment, so I do have some 184's coming when they show up this winter. I always order brass when I do any new caliber, but when a company says that millions of bullets were shipped and they are all gone in a couple of hours, while I slept. Goo for you that you have always got what you needed. Good for you!
I must be Irish has the rifle or barrel is the last piece of my jigsaw puzzle brass powder projectiles then I get a scope then I go looking for the rifle or the barrel if I'm doing one of my original actions.

Yes I did but in this rifle all I had on hand were eldms yes I was just lucky that the rifle liked them .
in the last 8 months I've bought 6.5 144 grain Berger hybrid targets 130 grain vld 140 grain Berger hybrid it does prefer the 144 grain but the groups Beyond 1000 are still quite acceptable with the ldm.

Thats the way I always try to do it.
Have everything ready to go when the barrel gets twisted on..enough on hand to shoot it out or close At least. Same with powder and primers..don’t always work out that way… but thats the plan
More 7mm 180 HYB TGT bullets should be hitting dealers in MARCH 2023 with more coming after that. In regard to the 6mm 109 LRHT. It is not on a current production schedule yet. So cannot comment. In regard to our bullets being loaded for the military. The amount of bullet manufactured that are used for this is much less than 1%. We have crushed production records for the previous year production for the last 4 years. And are adding more machines and personnel to increase this even more. The MAIN issues are still digging out from under existing back orders AND DEMAND. NAMMO or lack of receiving materials for production are not in this equation. The best thing to do is to go to the BERGER BULLETS website. Click on FIND A DEALER in the RED BOX . And if you are in the USA click on DEALER WEBSITES. Or if you are an INTERNATIONAL customer click on INTERNATIONAL DEALERS and get on all the BACK ORDER or NOTIFY lists you can so you are at least " standing in line" for bullets when they come into the dealers. This is speculation on my part. But the BOTS that are being used to suck up inventory by some when a bullet becomes available. But they may be a factor in this also. Part of the joys of ordering online.

I've been able to get all the Berger bullets I want except the 105 hybrid, but my dasher likes 108s really well... so I bought 3500. The 308s and 338s have been available enough to keep me supplied... quit shooting the 7mm, and hardly shoot the 6.5 calibers...so I don't need them in those calibers.
I can buy Barts 105s cheaper in bulk over here currently then I can buy Bergers or even Sierras for that matter. I know what ill be shooting in 6mm this coming season
